The FJH 7th grade Texas History class previously learned that in the history timeline of Texas, a new country has been born; Mexico (1821). Colonel Iturbe commissioned the creation of one of the earliest versions of the Mexican flag as we know it today. Students were tasked with creating a flag of their own to represent a country that they have created, or a flag representing themselves, an activity they might be involved in, or a flag of the city of Crystal City. Question: Does Crystal City have an official city flag? Hmm
